About Richard Fox

Richard Fox has spent more than five decades helping entrepreneurs, investors, lenders, attorneys, and business owners start, finance, grow, restructure, and manage businesses.

His career began in the financial services industry during a period when modern financial planning was still in its infancy. As Senior Vice President and Director of Financial Services for Stifel Nicolaus, one of America's leading investment banking and brokerage firms, Rick developed and presented financial planning seminar programs that helped establish one of the nation's early comprehensive financial planning departments. During this period he also served as an advisor, contributor, and ghostwriter for several nationally recognized investment and hard-money newsletters.

As an investment banker and Registered Principal under the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), Rick gained extensive experience in securities, capital formation, corporate finance, and business analysis. This background provided a unique perspective that would later become the foundation of his consulting practice.

In 1977, Rick conducted his first major corporate workout involving a multi-unit McDonald's franchise operation. Since then, he has worked with businesses across numerous industries, helping owners evaluate opportunities, solve operational and financial problems, raise capital, restructure troubled situations, and identify practical paths forward. His experience includes assisting bankruptcy attorneys, securities attorneys, investors, and federal prosecutors in matters involving business disputes, securities fraud, financial investigations, and corporate restructuring.

Over the course of his career, Rick has helped launch, finance, advise, evaluate, or restructure dozens of businesses. His ability to quickly identify underlying business problems, assess alternatives, and develop practical solutions has made him a trusted advisor to business owners facing both opportunities and challenges.

In addition to his business and financial background, Rick spent years serving alongside internationally respected Bible teacher Derek Prince. Through ministry teams, conferences, and leadership training, he developed a deep appreciation for biblical foundations, stewardship, discipleship, leadership, and God's purpose in both life and work.

In 1994, Rick founded Christian Business Solutions to help Christian business owners apply sound business principles and biblical wisdom to the challenges of entrepreneurship. Through seminars, workshops, radio programs, consulting engagements, and advisory relationships, he has assisted business owners in areas ranging from strategic planning and capital formation to management, growth, succession planning, and business transitions.

Rick believes that successful businesses are built on more than products, services, and profits. They are built on vision, stewardship, integrity, sound management, and a commitment to serving others. His approach combines more than fifty years of experience in investment banking, business development, financial planning, corporate restructuring, and entrepreneurship with timeless biblical principles.

Today, Rick continues to work with business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors who desire practical solutions, wise counsel, and a clear path forward. His passion remains helping people identify opportunities, solve problems, build stronger businesses, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
